If you do not believe that Genesis chapters 1 thru 11 are literally true, how can you possibly believe that John 3:16 is literally true?

Beit Midrash
House of Learning

Beit Midrash (Hebrew: בּית מדרש‎; also Beis Medrash, Beth Midrash, pl. batei midrash or botei medrash, lit. “House [of] Interpretation” or “House [of] Learning”) refers to a study hall, whether in a synagogue, yeshiva, kollel, or other building. It is distinct from a synagogue, although many synagogues are also used as batei midrash and vice versa. A Beit Midrash is a House of Study.

Our Beit Midrash includes the topics of study listed in links at the top of this page. And since this is a House of Study, this series of ten brief (each 4 minutes or less) insights from Dr. Mike Heiser into what Bible study is and is not might be very helpful for you to take the time to watch.

Please Note: In order to avoid misunderstanding the content of this website, it is extremely important that that you first carefully study the Vocabulary Matters page.
